Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you train with us.

What is The Club Neptune?

The Club Neptune is a performance coaching studio specializing in personal training and semi-private coaching. We believe everyone has the potential to become an athlete through intentional training and expert coaching. Our mission is to help people build strength, improve movement, prevent injury, and unlock their full potential through personalized coaching.

Who is The Club Neptune for?

The Club Neptune is for anyone who wants to become stronger, move better, and improve their quality of life.

Whether you are new to fitness, returning after time away, recovering from an injury, training for a specific goal, or simply looking to invest in your long term health, our coaching is designed to meet you where you are and help you progress with confidence.

I've never considered myself athletic. Can I still join?

Absolutely.

Many of our members begin their journey believing they are "not athletic." At The Club Neptune, we believe athleticism is developed through consistency, proper coaching, and intentional training.

No matter your starting point, we will help you build the strength, confidence, and skills needed to move like an athlete.

What makes The Club Neptune different?

We do not believe in one size fits all workouts.

Every client follows a personalized training program based on their goals, movement patterns, and current abilities. Our coaching focuses on developing strength, mobility, balance, coordination, stability, and resilience so you can perform better both inside and outside the gym.

We are committed to helping every client become stronger, healthier, and more capable for life.

What is semi-private training?

Semi-private training combines individualized programming with the motivation of training alongside a small group of people.

Although you may share the training space with others, your program is designed specifically for your goals, abilities, and stage of training. Your coach provides continuous guidance, exercise modifications, and accountability throughout every session.

What are the benefits of semi-private training?

Semi-private training offers many of the same benefits as personal training while creating an encouraging community environment.

Benefits include:

  • Individualized programming
  • Expert coaching throughout every session
  • Greater accountability
  • A supportive training environment
  • Consistent progress toward your goals

Do you offer 1-on-1 personal training?

Yes.

Our 1-on-1 personal training provides fully individualized coaching for clients who want dedicated attention and a customized training experience.

Whether your goal is building strength, improving athletic performance, recovering from an injury, losing weight, or simply moving better, every session is built around your unique needs.

Should I choose personal training or semi-private training?

Both options provide individualized coaching.

Personal training is ideal if you prefer dedicated 1-on-1 coaching or require additional support because of an injury, specific performance goals, or personal preference.

Semi-private training is an excellent option if you enjoy training alongside others while following your own personalized program and receiving expert coaching.

During your consultation, we will help you determine which option best fits your goals.

I have an injury or chronic pain. Can The Club Neptune help?

Yes.

Many of our clients come to us because they are recovering from an injury or managing ongoing pain.

We believe movement is one of the most effective tools for recovery when it is guided by knowledgeable coaching. We assess how your body moves, identify areas that need support, and create a progressive training plan that helps restore strength, improve mobility, and rebuild confidence.

When appropriate, we are happy to work alongside your healthcare providers to support your recovery.

What happens during my first visit?

Your first visit is designed to help us understand you and your goals.

We will discuss your health history, previous training experience, current lifestyle, and any injuries or limitations before completing a movement assessment.

From there, we will recommend the coaching option and training plan that best supports your goals.

Do I need to be fit before I start?

Not at all.

You do not need experience or a certain fitness level to train at The Club Neptune.

Our coaches will meet you where you are and help you progress safely and confidently.

What kinds of results can I expect?

Every client's journey is unique, but many experience:

  • Increased strength
  • Improved mobility
  • Better balance and coordination
  • Reduced pain and stiffness
  • Increased energy
  • Improved athletic performance
  • Greater confidence
  • Better movement in everyday life

Our goal is not simply to help you exercise. Our goal is to help you become more capable in every area of life.

How long are training sessions?
